MPJ is hilarious, he doesn't need to actually create space to shoot

06.12.2025 22:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Danny Wolf is here, he turned Miles Bridges to dust, and the Nets are playing four rookies every day. Like I said, things could be worse:

yeah I remembered PBP this morning but carl beat me to it
05.12.2025 19:56 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0been looking for a while, I feel like there is but I'm blanking
05.12.2025 09:09 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0just tough to guard. CHI trying to deny MPJ's second touch and here's an impromptu blind DHO, high enough up the court that MPJ can flow into a three:
04.12.2025 03:03 β π 8 π 2 π¬ 0 π 0After a dreadful start, the Nets are 4-9 with a -6 net rating. The rookies are playing, the young guys are growing. And idk, I'm kinda having a good time watching this team:

from the Never Hungover substack
01.12.2025 23:56 β π 13 π 1 π¬ 2 π 0this play won't get clipped in Wolf's highlight reel cause it wasn't an assist or bucket but this is the stuff
01.12.2025 15:37 β π 11 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0don't think we know yet
been pretty MIA for a couple weeks tho, that'll hopefully change
Week 4 rookie report, read all about it:

Jordi FernΓ‘ndez on deciding whether to let rookies like Egor play through struggles:
19.11.2025 03:13 β π 15 π 2 π¬ 2 π 0Jaylen Brown and Payton Pritchard should be arrested for stat-padding
19.11.2025 03:04 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I don't like it
19.11.2025 02:49 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Egor Demin plays 15 first-half minutes, just five in the second half, getting subbed after mistakes/bad plays
first game where I really can't get down with his PT
fully agree w/ the first and last sentences, disagree w/ the 2nd
I find myself aesthetically pleased by the gather + 2 step innovations because it is SUCH an athletic and processing skill to pull these moves off against NBA athletes, plus it's still enough of a constant to encourage creativity IMO
I am definitely in the minority by disagreeing w/ some of Ben's subjective takes here here but man is this a great video

don't really think this specific action has a wide-spread name but it is cool
15.11.2025 09:28 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I will never understand how people that like basketball don't like James it doesn't compute for me
15.11.2025 09:23 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Harden going for like 45-12-12 in 50+ a meaningless November double OT game on a crappy roster
disliking him is evidence of poor character
nah life is too short
fuck it
Orlando's half-court offense is as bad as everybody says
they should probably be proactive and bring in a new coaching staff (sorry)
just unfathomable how good NBA players are
15.11.2025 01:00 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Nico Harrison won't be getting a do-over or a second act. The Luka trade will stand as his legacy.
Latest from me, at The Ringer:
don't care that Noah's 3-point shot isn't falling (yet)
- defenders close out on him pretty respectfully
- has newfound strength to body up a rock like CMB
Egor DΓ«min ON: Nets shoot 14.1% more of their attempts from three, 100th percentile mark across NBA
