Oilers complete 7-game road trip in Sunrise, Florida, tonight in Stanley Cup rematch. Sense is the Oil want to reach the 30-game mark to take stock, hopefully have a healthier roster by then, examine their needs, decide where to focus on in terms of the trade market, etc.

Hockey Canada informed Matthew Schaefer on Wednesday night that he has officially been added to Team Canada's IOC long list (90-plus players).
There's a protocol involved in adding a player to the IOC list and Hockey Canada got word a few days ago that he was officially added.
