Streets, who I’ve had 9 years now, came from the streets of Boston and he is a menace. Today is his second day in the house after being on the porch all summer. Back on his bullshit, observe the salad provided vs what he’s eating.

We packed a box of books, activities, journals and fun stuff that she would have wanted for her and her 10yo daughter. I insisted they have a book fair night in pjs with cocoa and movies.

We helped replace a family's library that they lost in a fire recently, causing them to move to our area. And a new teacher's aide, her first fair with us, told me how she grew up with a single mom and never had book fair money, how grateful she was for what we do.

We filled EVERY teacher's entire wish list and then some, including teacher's aides and ELL assistants who never feel like they deserve anything. EVERY SINGLE child--and trust me, I know that all 200 made it down--went home with multiple books. The books they wanted.

HI! For everyone who supported our little school however they could for the #NoTearsBookFair last week, YOU MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE! Between donations, sales themselves from the community and families, and the Scholastic Dollars we earned, we put out OVER 1,000 BOOKS to those kids!

I would love to see you do that and for me to do that as well ahhahahaha sob sob

I'm so sorry! Book fair week got ahead of me, but there will be more!!! I'm pushing for another one already.
