If you’re questioning what a peaceful protest really accomplishes, think of this: 197 groups ORGANIZED the movement. Spoke loudly enough to make sure thousands and thousands of people stayed peaceful in a crowd. Organized. PLANNED. The storm isn’t just brewing, it’s arrived.

Respect those who ask what good a peaceful protest does. They want change, they want it now, and your answer could be why they do or do not show up at the next protest. Treat them as if they’re asking you why they should vote.

And know there’s more happening behind that peace.
