The test day was very smooth, we ran through our programme and tested all the things we planned to. In terms of performance, it’s still difficult to understand where we really stand because teams are hiding their true form,

It was a solid day, as we managed to complete a good amount of running, which is positive. We had a small issue during my session, but the team did a great job to get me back out on track to do some long runs.

We went through our programme in the morning without any issues. For now it’s very difficult to read much into performance and we are not focused on that. We’ve completed many laps which is a positive and we will keep pushing in the right direction.

My running for this first test is now complete. We’ve completed the programme without issues, which is always a positive. It’s always nice to look at the lap times, but in testing they don’t really mean much: the focus has to stay on ourselves and our work.
