I'm sad about this. They used to make "Bunny Cakes" which were an elevated Whoopie Pie, with a really tasty cream-cheese frosting sandwiched between two soft carrot cakes.

It's a great facility in the Marketplace. I hope another bakery moves in there.

My parents loved WITW, but I don't remember their ever reading to me (my sister taught me to read when I was 4; I was into chapter books by 7). Didn't read WITW till my late 20s. Mom also dropped occasional Findhorn hints. They were lapsed Catholic/pagan. Wish they'd brought me along for the ride.

There was a little Mediterranean cafe in Concord, CA that sells red pomegranate Turkish delight, dotted with bright green pistachios and rolled in crushed rose petals. It was definitely made by someone's grandma. And it was delectable! But I'm not sure if I'd throw over my entire family for a box.
