My reaction to Chucky schumer and the other senate dems fucking over the country again. Never say they won't take every opportunity to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Trump doesn't have the authority to hold Snap benefits, and the Dems just gave up a huge mandate, all for the PROMISE of a bill to approve ACA subsidies that should be there now.

This is the proverbial equivalent of the dems stepping on a rake, and then smuggly looking like they won the day.

You know all the posts of trump with Epstein, I wonder to myself: Did they ever get the full context?

No, It's pretty strictly a condition of capitalism. Selfishness is one part of the human experience, but that's different from a system built to lean to our worst compulsions. I don't think its utopian to think we should change our culture away from rugged individualism, to a more kind communal one.

I suppose that is possible, but at least if the philosophy of our society was: "let's do what's in the best interest of the majority to facilitate a happy, healthy life" as opposed to "You're on your own, and success is measure of your quality as a person" we could balance toward just ends easier.

I don't think anyone claims that these things are the product of capitalism (scarcity of resources???) rather that the incentive structure of capitalism is an innately selfish, and destructive way of balancing them amongst the people. The world prior was worse, yes, but we can still do much better.

In a dark cave, a very large, fat dragon named "magrix" is holding a skunk tightly against his belly with his wings. around the two are a collection of Kobolds who're all laughing and entertained by the ordeal. There's a close up shot of the skunk in question, who's looking up at Magrix with a bashfully eager expression.

Oh snap! Magrix caught poor lil' @monochrome.mephit.me in his wings... the big guy is keeping him nice and snug against his fat belly...

Using his immense weight, he can squish those unfortunate enough to be beneath him, and knock anyone else around up into the air against their control.

Aahhhh, maybe that's where I got it! I think Magrix is better, then. Less of a direct rip off that way. I plan to upload more of them, and their lil' 'bold friends here and on FA
