Every other month, we gather online to pause, pray, & seek God together. We have our final Prayer Meeting of 2025 today @ 12:30pm.
These meetings are wonderful to reflect on Scripture, share updates from across Mission Housing, & lift each other up in prayer.

2/3 collaborating with churches and Christian organisations. In 2022, we started to extend our reach outside of London and we now help key Christian workers in the whole of England and Wales, with our current total at 15 shared ownership homes beyond London.

1/3 Mission Housing was founded in 2014 as a product of the merger of Victoria Park Homes 1965 and Amersham Christian Housing, with the proud history of supporting the housing needs of Christian workers.
In the last 11 years, Mission Housing has crossed paths with over 160 individuals and couples

1/2 Lastly, we may be able to help Christian key workers with affordable tenancies. We own and manage a very limited number of properties across London, all rented to key Christian workers at below-market rates for a long-term basis.

Second Charge — Mission Housing

To bridge any funding gap small loans are raised from supporters & Mission Housing combines them and provides the amount to the church—taking a second charge on the property. The goal is for the church to eventually repay the loans & own the property outright.

If your church or organisation wants to provide housing for staff or volunteers, we’d love to help. Mission Housing offers a Second Charge option to churches and Christian organisations purchasing property to house their workers. The church owns the property and may secure a mortgage (first charge).

Shared Ownership — Mission Housing 38 individuals, couples and families are currently benefiting from Mission Housing’s shared ownership scheme.

We manage the loans on your behalf handling communication with lenders providing support when loan terms need to be reviewed or renewed.
We then support our shared owners as they gradually increase their ownership to 💯% by staircasing or buying out lenders.

We then work together to create a campaign to help you find people who will lend to Mission Housing for the remaining percentage.
Once the purchase price is reached with a mortgage, deposit and loans, Mission Housing combines them to purchase your home.

Our primary approach when helping house our associates, is through Shared Ownership. Should you apply to Mission Housing, & your application is accepted, you’ll need to contribute at least 25%(to 75%) of the property’s purchase price with your deposit & mortgage(with at least 10% being your deposit)
