Recently learned that color point coloration on cats is a type of partial albinism, and the pattern depends on body temperature (cool body parts remain dark).

Visuals were lost on the horse approximately the time it left the stratosphere.

I have a rendered version of this but the audio bugs out despite the file not having any. So I'll just pass on uploading that, for now

I made this tracking rig thing a month ago and thought it's fun that to make all this happen you just
- move Pegasus
- disengage Kata's pin at the end
It also doesn't throw any errors

test rig, test fur, test everything

The cat model, the left-hand side is the original sculpture and the right-hand side is the cleaner retopologized model. It now also has its fingers separated, among other improvements.

The retopologized cat with its mouth open, a work in progress. The model has a multiresolution modifier applied to it. The 2nd subdivision level is shrink-wrapped onto the original sculpture, so basically no detail is lost, in theory

Aaand here's Bee the cat. This is my first retopology, so don't be mean about it lol

Some stuff I'm happy with. I rigged her with my partial hypermobility, so the thumb is accurate. Figuring out the shoulder area is what I had the most fun with. This is now an anatomy study as well, not just me learning rigging

WIP of my first human sculpt + rig! Character of mine named Kata (and Bee the cat, also my model).

I found that rigging is incredibly fun to me, more than anything else in 3D, so I've mainly been doing that. The clothes are temporary placeholders. I started doing this simply for drawing reference
