They provide both halves of the equation: “Those MAGA politicians? They aren’t MAGA enough. They aren’t real MAGA. They’re woke”
There will come a day when this is said about Trump
I think you either grew up with this or you didn’t, and shouldn’t touch it. I associate the dish with family, Holidays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter. When I think about the dish on its own merits it doesn’t even sound good to me, but the associations are strong enough to make me like it.

Then forgot about it and left it on for a year or more after I recovered. When I remembered and turned it back, I suddenly knew how the first person to ever use stereo headphones felt.
06.08.2025 22:40 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0That cultural moment, when there was a mass group of people called skeptics and atheists that usually supported progressive causes, seems just part of history now, not the present. It’s back there with the pre-1964 alignment of the parties, as something to read about and go “huh”.
06.08.2025 16:31 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It should be used for necessary but non-fun tasks. Like, I dunno if the computer inside a roomba is technically using the same kind of “AI” as we’re talking about when we talk about “AI”, but that’s the sort of stuff AI should be doing.

See Part II and Marcela’s response to the suitors, written in 1605. You would think it was written today.
It should be read by young (and old) men.
I don’t even dislike or disapprove of the concept. It just.. ain’t there yet. It’s good at stuff like removing unwanted people and objects from real photos.
