happy new year!

I started playing D&D again in recent years (last 10 or so) after a long hiatus. We played and finished Strahd in 2024/2025 so I found the reference both nostalgic and contemporary. I don’t remember who landed the death blow, but I was happy to wield the Sunsword in the final battle.

Best Albums of 2025

My favorite albums of 2025. Still a WIP probably through 2026. Looking for other gems I may have missed. Mostly postpunk/ punk/ indie/ electronic/ shoegaze. Also looking for better apps outside of Spotify in the new year…

I’m curious to see where Kid Rock and Ted Nugent will land. I’m sure they’re both in the running for some position or another.

I don’t know what’s scarier - keeping Hegseth on in his current role or the administration (finally) considering someone else for the position. Just thinking about the process and the possible list of new candidates is “exciting.”
