They KNOW Kamala was a moderate because she may have been compared to them and their opinions are close to the median voter's in their minds, though not in reality

I lasted until 2020, without voting for Trump either time, hoping Trump would lose and the party would revert. Instead it doubled down on helping with the stop the steal effort. I think I registered as independent after seeing the official RNC tweet out one of Sidney Powell's press conferences
