Obama in 2013, saying how irresponsible it is to shut down the government just to blackmail a President to get what you want.
02.11.2025 23:12 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0then? So the Dem party is being childish right now doing something they said is wrong multiple times in the past and now paving the way for the Republicans to do the same in the future. Neither party should be placing demands on the CR.
02.11.2025 19:17 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0More specifically I am basically referring to I believe he sees how dum his party is being holding the CR hostage to demands after preaching for years that doing so is unacceptable. They open the door for the Republicans to do the same if the Dems hold power. Will people vilify the Dems as at fault
02.11.2025 19:15 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Until you stop calling Republicans a fascist, cursing them, calling them Nazis, assaulting them for their views, etc, then you are most definitely fascistic. We must then be fascists together, yeah?
Please use some critical thinking.
Big fan of Colin. Very common sense explanations.
02.11.2025 01:55 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This was so fun to read. The police made it fun and now the teens are entrepreneurs selling TP insurance. Lol. Thank you for this.

There has been a decrease, but the Friday before last was a Red Friday after his posts about China weaponizing rare earths and the extra tariff in retaliation for that.
Every day we are on our toes and monitoring as many feeds as we can. Never dull.
Your bio about 'What now' is funny. We have a Discord community and anytime the market unexpectedly turns up or down we are all asking: WTF did he say now? :)

01.11.2025 04:49 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Our system is so convoluted that these things are truly hard to adequately pin down. The CMS investigation is one such example of that. The thing that gets me the most are the folks that blatantly abuse and misuse the benefits, both illegal and legal. One situation we experienced was like Whoah!
01.11.2025 04:48 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is just one of the clinics in my area. One can do a search for DPC membership clinics and I am positive there will probably be one by you:

Most of what I deal with involve internal Valley documents. In my Health folder I have these: oig.hhs.gov/reports/all/...
CMS also investigating the tax loophole states have been using to siphon taxpayer money to support their health efforts to undocumented immigrants.

Have you heard of the Direct Primary Care model? The version Valley established seems to be doing well and growing. I am considering establishing as a patient to one.
This model may also help for the long haul.
My mom is an Austrian immigrant. I plan to talk to her about their system. I was born in Germany & lived there until my high school years. I feel the U.S. is great for specialty care, but sucks for preventative care. In Europe it is generally the opposite, great preventative care, but not the other.
31.10.2025 23:55 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0or go directly/indirectly to that, but I know that through PCHS alone, 200 million went to them over four years. I cannot locate specific amounts for the other states, just estimates and a few whistleblower stuff.
31.10.2025 23:51 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So unfortunately, people keep citing the law, which I wish was followed, but the blue states, CA, NY, WA, OR and IL in particular are not following that law closely. CA did expand their programs to include more illegals outside of emergency care. Not sure how much in federal money is matched
31.10.2025 23:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0In our personal cases here in WA, our hospital alone has two advocates that assist undocumented immigrants with accessing resources, including signing up for Medicaid from Apple Health. The community centers on the Peninsula, PCHS also use federal money on illegal immigrants.
31.10.2025 23:48 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Not sure if you have seen other posts I had put out there. I think there are two aspects to this:
Emergency Services: The law does allow for this, but there is the argument, and evidence from certain health system CEOs, that with the influx of illegal immigrants, care for citizens have been effected
The R party definitely will need some sort of legislation. Right now it is all voluntary compliance by the pharma companies, but if phRMA starts to really resist and fight, without a law the whole thing gets undone.
31.10.2025 22:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0to big to really fix at this point. I think something drastic has to happen, or more preferably, the out of pocket movement to expand significantly.
31.10.2025 21:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0If you are in an emergency, they will settle the balance for a much smaller cash pay amount and call it good since it saves them from the expense of pursuing and collecting.
Sorry for the long wind, but with my healthcare background, something I am passionate about. The whole system is kind of
now had cheap cash pay rates and most things are cheaper than if we used insurance. The insurance rates for lab work, for example, contributes to high healthcare costs whereas people can go to ultalabtests.com and other sites and pay much cheaper prices to get their labs done.
31.10.2025 21:37 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Prior to health insurance, people always paid out of pocket or on collateral. We see a growing movement to forgo health insurance now in favor of that. Ladi and I began two years ago. We max out HSA every year, grow it through weekly dividend income, and pay our costs from there. Almost everywhere
31.10.2025 21:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0and get profitable at this mark), but since most people usually, during open enrollment, change insurers often, this helps keep premiums high and/or tricks are put out like co-insurance on top of deductibles, etc. The creation of health insurance has been one of the biggest downsides in the country.
31.10.2025 21:34 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0is not 100% working to help us be healthy and well. It keeps us in and profitable for as long as possible. The other issue discussed in our field is employer health. Seems premiums could be lower if members were on the same plan for at least three years or longer (insurers apparently break even
31.10.2025 21:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0But subsidies definitely will not fix the issue. Whether car insurance or health insurance, the companies raise the rates for a variety of reasons. Too many middlemen, more people older and sicker, too many drugs prescribed, etc. Ladi and I are disillusioned with the system because, in our view, it
