The Public Advisory Roundtable (PAR) held their fall planning meeting, with honorary guest William J. Martin II, MD. During the meeting, the group discussed updates, outlined talks, and planned for PAR's 25th anniversary, which will be held in May 2026.

Flyer for CoPARC Virtual Seminar (November 18, 2025) The flyer invites individuals to join the CoPARC seminar on November 18, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM MST. The seminar features two speakers: Kristina Bailey, MD from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, presenting on "Lung Tissue Biobanking at the University of Nebraska Medical Center." Her research focuses on the impact of alcohol use disorder on lung health and the role of the UNMC lung biobank. Gregory Marcus, MD, MAS from the University of California, San Francisco, presenting on "Adventures in Lifestyle Research and Arrhythmias: Conventional Wisdom Collides with Evidence." His presentation discusses the effects of alcohol, caffeinated coffee, and tobacco smoke on atrial fibrillation and arrhythmias. More and More Americans Are Forgoing Alcohol. Why? The percentage of adults in the U.S. who report drinking alcohol is at a record low, according to a new poll.
