Yeah, it burrows a little deeper into my soul every time I watch it. I found it through this short NPR article, if you’re interested in how it came to be.

Origami is so good for kids (and adults of course). It’s a great tool for teaching math, creativity, problem-solving, and more. And, for me at least, it’s therapeutic. It helps quiet the world and bring the focus inward. Your dad was a smart man to share it with you. ❤️

I don’t even have the words, but everything about this is absolutely stunning.

I can’t even imagine how hard that is.

Just read an article about how many of the children shot were older (meaning MIDDLE SCHOOL) kids protecting younger ones. My heart breaks every single time, but something about that is especially gut wrenching. Eleven year olds shouldn’t have to be the heroes.
