So is there any real differences between Java and C#? They are heavily class and object oriented. Is there a reason why someone should pick one over the other?

12.12.2024 00:14 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I learned how to code faster when I realized that no matter how much thought I put into my first try I will always get errors/bugs. Way better to just bang out the first attempt
01.12.2024 22:02 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The only thing JS doesnβt dive into well would be pointers and dynamic memory allocation. But if you are at the point where you need to learn pointers you are probably good enough to move onto another language anyway
25.11.2024 23:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Obviously your first language doesnβt matter at all because you will eventually find your niche and use the coding language that best supports it. But to get the choice out of the way I would always choose JS

2. You can code it anywhere and get results easily because it is built in to browsers
3. You can use classes, practice data structures and algorithms
4. Its largely supported so you can make any type of project in it
Ive tried the majority of all major coding languages and Im confident that JavaScript/TypeScript is the best language to learn as a beginner
