Obviously modern genres like rock & hip-hop don't have the long history of classical music, but it is understood that "rock" is just an umbrella term that encompasses sub-genres (grunge, punk, etc...)

Same thing applies to classical defined by certain epochs (romantic, baroque, etc..), right?

My heart rate average is way off for some reason. Based on my Polar chest strap, the average should be 169bpm. Not sure why the discrepancy.

GMT update: apparently the issue I was having is not from the GMT.jl wrapper, but a bug in GMT itself.
