Can anyone explain to me why Cole Palmer gets such a free ride from pundits/commentators? I rate him highly but there is no getting away from the fact he’s had a really poor second half of the season. But doesn’t seem to get a mention, just gets lauded.

Final thought: our own faults aside, it feels kinda typical of our season that a bloke gets sent off the weekend before and should miss the game but the red is overturned, and then it looks like he scores a winner against us with his elbow but VAR can't decide for sure he did or didn't. 😑

Newley went un noticed last night with the boxing on and all, but Jude sent off last night after not taking another loss well. Had to be restrained as was going for the ref after the game. He’s going to need to curb it sooner or later.
