So yes, as mad as Brych and Zwayer have made me at times, I have NEVER seen an officiating performance as beneficial to one team as last night.
Auburn's 2nd half offense didn't help (that's all on Hugh), but last night was as fixed a game as you're ever going to see.

- The most egregious thing was when Kirby Smart seemingly called a 2nd half timeout. His hands were perpendicular and he was shouting timeout. When the ref blew the whistle and called timeout georgia, Smart screamed that he was just clapping. They give him the timeout back! No delay of game.

- On the ensuing drive, uga had 0 timeouts, but benefited multiple times when the clock was stopped for video reviews out of nowhere. The entire 1st half 2 minute warning took around 40 minutes to actually play! They got a field goal on that drive, a 10 point swing, the difference in the game.

Unfortunately, yes. I've never seen anything like last night's game.
- Ball breaks the plane 2 plays in a row. No TD called.
- The 2nd play was called a fumble. Replay showed the ball had already crossed the line before it was knocked out. georgia recovered the ball with about 1:40 on the clock.

The fact that Auburn fans are seriously debating the merits of leaving the SEC (we’re a founding member by the way) is all you need to know about the current state of SEC officiating.
