I'm still working on Star Dancers, but development has slowed down due to a LOT of things happening in my personal life.

So I'm adding some UI to the galaxy map to display star systems and their planets (planets that have not been visited will be blurred out when playing). What are your thoughts of the UI composition here?

Just looking for feedback before I commit too much to it.

So I FINALLY managed to get the star system map to display planets dynamically using their respective seed.

There's only one system type at the moment, but each star color will be it's own type with a different color and (hopefully) mechanically different sun and planets.

I made a LOT of optimizations to the galaxy map, and it runs buttery smooth even on my old and decrepit laptop.

Also added in a better UI which generates ALL the data for any solar system when looking at it.

Hoping to make this UI as simple and intuitive as possible.

Godot's Terrain feature, although helpful, didn't quite work with my chunk system, so I decided to code in a "Terrain Pass" to act as an auto-terrain generator.

Hoping for a speedy resolution

Just spent a good portion of the night coding while fighting off sleep.

Can't wait to wake up later and vomit uncontrollably after seeing and comprehending how bad everything looks.
