Doing this pose was quite challenging, and i couldn't do it by heart, so i had to take photos with my phone for a pose reference. There are subtle angles going on that i couldn't have done without a reference and pushing those aspects to make them more appealing. I decided to keep the colors simple and clean, and give his fur/skin a bit of a shine simply because shiny muscles look more appealing. One of the things i am a big fan of whenever i draw Ren, is to have him wear his dark glasses but still leave a faint trace of his eyes, so that those who enjoy pieces longer can see the detail of his expression, in this case: the whole "you are nothing, i will step on you with my big boot" kinda look. The thong stretch was also a challenge to portray because it should show that it's stretched but still comfortable and that the way he is wearing it is very much intentional, because he knows his cock is really big and he doesn't even try to hide it, but he proudly swings it around. His massive balls resting on his thigh. Getting the balance on the boot details was also something to consider, when you work in such a cell shade style, with clean lines, and how to portray detail but not make it too much and TOO detailed. It was a wonderful piece to work on.

It is a challenge to portray the nice shape and volume of the body shapes without using any shading or rendering, and for Leo i do try to keep a consistent shape of his pecs throughout all the commissions i've done of him so far. I think that it is important to me to have returning clients' characters consistent and how they look "in my style" when i draw them, especially when i have positive feedback when they are happy with their build that they asked for and also are consistent in their own desires how i portray their character, both in vibe and physical appearance, that way i don't have to reinvent their proportions with every piece. It is extremely helpful to me when a client knows what they want for the portrayal of their OC.

Big beefy tanuki, taking his work clothes off. He is wearing a standard office attire: dress shirt, pants and a tie. He is undressing and getting comfortable. One piece of feedback i got in the brief is that the client liked the way i draw the big bodies, and showed me examples where i drew characters to have big muscular builds, that feature big bulging muscles but also keep a great deal of fat - leaning more to the bodybuilder than the powerlifter side of builds. The pose is a fairly typical one, very simple pose that allows me to show off the face, the chest, belly and the bulge in a sequence. The arms and legs there allude muscles underneath the clothing without going into too much detail. The bulge size is fairly big, but the fabric was drawn to be snug but there is some space left there, so we have a nice stretch in the top, the balls resting on this invisible sofa and the shape giving it weight, while the shaft hangs there as to invite the viewer in.. The green there is to allude to the character's fur color. One of the challenges of drawing a piece like this is that the idea itself is fairly simple, and done by others by a billion times, but the idea is hot: "Man/husband/dad coming back from work and needs release" so the focus needs to be where we want the viewer to look, in his case - the bulge. But since it was requested in the brief that the chest should also be prominent, it is fighting the bulge for attention. So the pose itself has been simplified, the arms and legs lack detail as to not draw too much attention as well, and the belly is revealed (people love bellies) to tie the chest to the bulge. I could've chosen a more eye catching color, but the acid green was kinda more true to the character overall color scheme.

Ray knew what he wanted, i got the reference and the pose and it was straight forward from there. The only challenge i believe is to make things read easily, and to draw the eye at our usual parts we want people to look at, while maintaining that hard working dad vibe. I was worried that the plaid might be too matchy (and it was) but i found a way around that by making one of them just slightly darker so it is clear that they are the same plaid, but still have the separation of one from the other, and it worked. The surrounding shapes have been simplified for readability of the parts i do want people to focus on.

I rarely get to draw a koala, and musclechubs in general. Drawing musclechubs is different from drawing a hyper character because his proportions need to be fitted on a normal skeleton and pack as much mass you can without breaking it, and the additional challenge is how much muscle and how much fat to add to match the intention of what is portrayed (in this case, the client wanted Deep Dish, the koala, to be flexing his giant arms in some bodybuilder pose), and also to stay true to the character's initial design and shape. I tend to draw every character's body different just like how our bodies are different in real life, and there are plenty of choices that need to be made while constructing them, to be able to portray the kind of body i (and the client) want him to have. Another request was to give him big balls that dominated the package. The initial pose had much more of a V shaped, just like a lean bodybuilder, but then i had to add a big belly that can fit, but also not take over the focus of the entire piece. And i think a nice balance was struck between us having a good look at his face, display his big hair and locks, a nice sense of the mass in the chest, nice curve on the belly, and finally a big balls package that looks inviting.

There is something fun about that because its not just about drawing muscles, its about drawing them in a very certain way, and to capture that feeling of when you see an actual bodybuilder, where you see the muscles, bulging and veins popping, wondering if that is even real or why do you strangely like it, but you don't, but you do. I find it very different sensation from how you would see a person who is just big. SO capturing that is a very rare treat i get to do. Another thing Stan wanted was to have him in a thong or a bodybuilding poser, skimpy underwear either way, and his cock stretching it as much as possible. So i really wanted to have a strong silhouette for how the underwear looks, and i wanted that cock to look raging hard, and like that is something how he looks for hours as this dog is doing his job. Another thing that was requested is for the whole vibe to be sexual, which i wanted to accomplish so that he is inherently sexual, simply because he has a raging hardon and his muscles are bursting, and have focus on that, instead of something he is doing. I find it incredibly easy for artists to slap a speech bubble to explain what's going on, but i find it way more challenging trying to capture this vibe in other ways. Whether i succeeded in my portrayal will be up to you, the viewer. I just think that drawing buff animals is fun and brings me back to my roots and what i loved about furry bara art.

a hrothgar/moogle pouring tons of lube on their moogle pom. They are in a low crouching submissive pose, with butt up in the air. So,,, this came out. I wasn't sure how the f would i even draw this pose so i had to take reference photos. let's just say i am not flexible enough to pull this off, ouch. But i did my best! Another thing i am really happy with is how everything looks light and flowy (?), almost weightless, which in this instance i really like. Originally i think you're not supposed to see the eyes of the character, but for this piece it was vital for them to be there since i wanted the trickling lube and the face behind it to carry the entire piece. Overall very happy with this piece and thank the lord PlagueRat liked it too because i just did whatever *I* wanted, and what i'd like buffos to do.

Borderline hyper characters are always an interesting challenge to draw. Depending on the size of the character and their proportions it's like a fun puzzle to solve. There were two sketches before this one where i tried focusing on his big muscles, but then i decided to focus on the dick between the thighs as the main focus of the piece. This point of view pretty much minmaxes that view of the underwear stretching to see the base of the cock while fully showing off the size of the dick. With this pose its easy to create negative space as well as the focus, and because the dick needed to be in the focus, all other distractions had to be moved or reduced in detail so they weren't fighting for attention. It heavily reminds me of that one piece nullghost did years ago, but thats what happens when artists utilize these very minmax like poses that convey they exact thing you want the viewer to see, with bullseye accuracy. It just works. The color is red because usually when i draw for Nex, i tend to use it. I wanted to use the pale yellow like the eyes, but it changes the vibe. Red is more sexy+ masculine, elevating the already hyper-masculine vibe of this character.

A very muscular shark, posing with a backlit poser. I've had this idea floating in my head on drawing thong bulges that were lit from behind, so you could see (kinda) whats going on inside the bulge. To convey that better and have the mystery of it, the lineart inside the bulge has been removed only to show the light-shadow play inside, but keep it to a minimum instead of full rendering to have the consistent art style. The hand placement was a dilemma because i could remove it and just have the bulge on display, but i just like that little bit of interactivity and contact that makes the appeal just a bit better, since he is touching it and the viewer can vicariously feel it. The touch is deep so you can guess that the junk is soft and meaty. There is a gap between the balls and the shaft, to let the light shine through and show us the shape of the junk inside the pouch. I added some definition to the overall body, and somewhat even beefed him up from the original reference. I really wanted to add a cockring in there. Overall a very simple pose, chosen to show off the line that goes from his face and toothy grin, have the chest firm but plump, a full set of abs, a big bulge as he is hung in the ref, and big fat thighs. for those interested if looked closer you can see he has a big dumpy vs his small waist.

Even now i am not sure just how much exactly they dominate the picture because the face is drawing the eye. The aspecs i really like is the little bit of body hair here and there that i got to do, as well as that nipple piercing. I wasn't sure if the shape of his pecs on the reference sheets were intentional, but i do enjoy the droopy shape it had so i wanted to recreate it how it would look when squatted down. The leash was added to illustrate his role better. I hope that people like this because it a bit steps out of the minmaxiness of furry art, and instead it hides the parts most sexual people want to see and asks to see the other aspects of the body that can be very attractive. A very interesting character and theme to work on and i hope i gave it justice.
