Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the smartest of them all? Humans believe they are. Yet we live in a world where we must work relentlessly just to afford things that nature gives us for free or that we never needed in the first place. While animals instead continue to “just” live. Eat, sleep, explore, procreate. No deadlines, no bills, no stress over Monday mornings. No diabetes, anxiety, or depression; but parasites, bacteria and abnormalities at birth. Fight or flight is activated when life is truly threatened by real danger. Ironically, the only time we feel truly alive is when we are allowed to sleep in sync with our cardiac rhythm, eat clean, connect with others, and enjoy life’s simple pleasures. Living is now called “holiday”, and only earned it through a year of sacrifice. 😁😁
