I was a little late to that party too, but man, the show really clicks. I really love it as a comfort watch. Which can arguably be the best kind of show.

SAME. It feels like everything I believed was a lie. Like, our whole identity as a country was reduced to this cosmic joke because of a handful of people with tons of money and fragile egos. It’s so depressing. And infuriating. And embarrassing. We could have had so much better.

I guess the good news is I’ll have a LOT to cover in therapy for the next 4+ years

That’s how I’ve been feeling too! At least with threads it auto added a lot of my Instagram follows, so I had a base. Oh well. I’m just here for the community engagement anyway- not trying to be a content creator or influencer.

Man. My daughter’s best friend from the neighborhood is moving to TX & she is going to be DEVASTATED. They are the same age (7), started kindergarten together, sat next to each other on the bus & in class (assigned) & thick as thieves. Both only children. Don’t know how to tell her. I hate this.

Okay y’all. I’ve been trying to drum up some traction here but I haven’t had as much engagement as on threads. I like talking about movies, being a dad, mental health, some sports, history, world travel, cinematography, and the arts. Who wants to connect?

My dog (Nellie, cuz she’s a nervous Nellie) has ZERO spatial awareness. NONE. she falls off our bed or couch or both almost DAILY. what a doofus.
