Simon Wood--Thriller Writer

Comedy writer Rob Grant died this week. He was part of the writing team Grant-Naylor. He'll be best remembered for co-creating Red Dwarf but his comedy writing stretched far wider than that especially in sketch comedy. I've been laughing at his writing since I was teenager.

THE PINK PANTHER STRIKES AGAIN holds a special place in my heart as it's the only film that nearly got me kicked out of a theater. The film came out on 8th birthday and my mum took me to see it. Apparently, we laughed too much and the usherette told us repeatedly to knock it off.
