I'm gearing up to do #FastDraftFeb again next month as I found it a really fun way of holding myself accountable to write regularly while also keeping the zero draft, it doesn't have to be perfect mentality - anyone want to join me?

The fake daters are fake dating! The fun and games have begun! I read back a previous chapter and didn't completely hate it! (Yes I'm aware this is a first draft but I am an eternal tinkerer and cannot be stopped)

Look, it's really hard going from an ultra-polished query-ready draft to a messy first draft for the first time in *checks notes* four years, okay? But I'm just getting to know these kids, and they're getting to know each other, and I know I have to ✨trust the process✨

Day 2&3: Basically rewrote what I wrote on day 1 and added another hundredish words on top, but I'm sooo much happier with how the scene looks now and feel like I have a much better idea of where it's going! ✨

Day 1: 325 words in the company of lovely writing friends, but more importantly, many inspirational chats and great snacks 💛
