So as an art exercise, I started using the negative spaces to create images…
Once I use all the stickers I put the rest of the page in my art journal and I draw whatever my mind sees, sometimes it doesn’t always come out clearly but it’s been fun lol
I also force myself to use pen so I can’t erase.

The story takes place in France at the beginning of the 20th century and follows the journey of two young Japanese women, Fujiko and Chizuru, who meet in Paris and decide to support each other in their pursuit of their respective dreams!

I had the incredible opportunity to be selected for the manga adaptation of Gorō Taniguchi's upcoming film パリに咲くエトワール, which will be released in 2026!
