My heart goes out to the families and friends of the two WV Guardsmen who have died. Political violence against those being used as pawns is not the answer.

US hikes national park fees for foreigners to put 'American families first' Non-residents will soon have to $100 per person to enter 11 of the United States' most popular parks.

I know this policy will cause outrage, but some taxes on tourists are good, in my opinion. Other countries do this, with admission at places like the Acropolis going up almost yearly. Visitors will still pay, and the money helps combat damage done by overcrowding.

Local history is under-appreciated, in my opinion.
