However control surfaces don’t have the same restriction so ClyphX Pro’s Snap function will recall large amount of parameters almost instantaneously, sub 25ms….

It’s one of those things that should be great but MaxforLive isn’t the most optimised tool, as people generally want to recall hundreds of parameters at the same time and as M4L works on a low priority thread you will experience a delay.
