Might have been a variation of chicken fried steak 🤔

I remember ordering a chick steak once when I was travelling in America (think it was the East Coast) because I had no idea what it was. After eating it, I still had no idea what it was … 🤷‍♀️

Could they be eaten with jam & cream, do you think?

I’m pretty sure that in England this would be a scone or a cake… and an argument would rage as to whether it was actually a biscuit. We have too much time on our hands. Looks scrumptious…

A large momma deer 🦌 is crossing the driveway. There are brushstrokes of snow spread across the grassy areas & a row of trees cover the top eighth of the photo with trees to either side of the deer
