Started around 2010 with "Jack Seacole" as a fan OC/self insert for StarGate Atlantis (and any other media I was into at the time), he evolved into a lot of my current OCs: Ilya, Skallagrímr, Hellas, Mosaic, Flak, some others.

It's a great game for PS1 horror nostalgics but with a lot of queerness, awesome aesthetics and amazing character portraits

Not long ago I played Nine Sols, maybe the best metroidvania I had the joy to experience this year, with an amazing story and awesome music. I was loving it so much that I had to paint something about it! 💙

Yep. I mean I just cleared Celeste and mostly had fun and I’m in a challenging platformers mood xD but combat is very different, and any game should just have options to find what works for everyone, no dev can get the perfect balance right, each player is different

I’ve binged through a LOT of indie videogames these past months, and I’ve been toying with the idea of writing a thread talking about them etc., idk

Yeah I changed the sliders on a boss who I knew the patterns but it was stunlocking me very annoyingly so I said fuck it.
I never feel any accomplishment when defeating a difficult boss, I only feel the tedium, not everyone gets a rush. Plus there’s people with disabilities who need easy modes

It was!!! And when it ends I wasn’t ready for that banger of a song as a farewell in the true ending

YES the whole discourse around “git gud” & “games should be played in the intended difficulty to respect the devs’ vision” is dumb and pointless, *every game* should have accessibility options period (shame on you Team Cherry).

The only game that’s made me enjoy the parry

Yeah in this case it was about using Grok to animate a painting he made, but also mentioned using AI a lot in different ways and embracing technology, etc 🤢

Yeah it does, I have Rebelle 7 and updated to 8, I love it to bits and it has completely transformed my art. I just can’t believe artists do this (and many of the people there were also like “neat!”)

I just discovered that the guy who does every Rebelle official tutorial video is a user and staunch praiser of many AI tools because they make their “life easier” 💀
I immediately left their rebelle discord server (personal, not affiliated with rebelle)
