JAMA "Research Letter" displays "Trends in Private Equity Affiliations With Fertility Clinics in the US." Graphs show private equity vs. non-private equity fertility clinics and IVF cycles by year, 2013-2023. Total, private equity, and non-private equity data are shown.

Between 2013 and 2023, private equity ownership of US fertility clinics increased nearly tenfold, from 3.7% to over 32%, with affiliated sites responsible for the majority of #IVF cycles by 2023.
