I also need to restock groceries ASAP, but the very first priority is rent. Without that, I die and all other needs are moot.

The most immediate effect of this is that progressive voters in Scotland, Wales, London councils, etc. that are coming up for election in May are going to see that Labour isn't the "tactical choice" to stop Reform and that could have some pretty drastic consequences.
