A wip of Yui and Chiaki

Best I can come up with is #結秋 (Yuiaki) or #結海 (Yuiami)

Meaning, “tied to autumn” and “bound to the sea” respectively. JP fandom plays with ship names so I did my best lol

Autumn is between summer and winter, so it fits thematically. The latter fits with the existential crisis the ship has though

Fortunately it seems like everybody loves the translators work throughout the book, so I'm going to set aside my pet peeves and read the dang thing!

basically its a romance between a serial killer and a research journalist, and I am prettyyyyy sure they are both women. I didn't realize until I left the store lol

I started reading a bit of the beginning of "Butter" and I swear to god the translation style is so similar as to how I have done it in the past and...its bad to read....I love my commas (and I'm sure the translator does too) but I might pick up the OG book after I read through. The premise is so !!

could also be from just not seeing it too. JP loves twitter, and I don't lol. But even then I don't see any when looking up DR:K in google images (for example). the search engine is pretty consistent with pushing out photos that gain a traction, and I don't see any links to that site either

Its interesting because JP side is pretty, uh, slow in terms of fan contributions. I also think that Kodaka interview from a month ago (that was translated on Reddit) was also from China as well?
