Jonas to TV2: it was a surprise for me too, I didn't expect to go for anything, but the legs felt good and when that's the case, why not try. Trek set a good pace, but I told the team to launch me and Matteo did, QUITE a lot faster than I expected, so I had to attack hard from there. ⬇️

Quite funny - Norsgaard (commenting today) just said that Matteo had told him that Jonas "doesn't say a thing" at the hotel every night, but he "becomes a devil" when they race 🤣🙈 (as in super "vocal"/bossy about what he wants the team to do as a leader 🫣)
