I feel like it’s in the process of being resolved for me, but I also want to know why it happened (though I have some ideas) and who is responsible (I also know who this is too). I also want assurance that it won’t happen to me or anyone else again.

The SK blurb is from the first Book of Blood (I think?) but I don’t know anything about the cover art or cover artist.

Yep, it is absolutely a pattern of behavior. He and I were really good friends for a long time and he (was) a good editor back in the day. He was one of the first people to publish my work. I don’t know what’s going on with him now (well for the last 5+ years) but it seems to be getting worse.

Gonna wager a guess and say we’re all about to find out 😒

What really pisses me off is that the only reason I learned about it is a friend sent it to me encouraging me to submit something and then noticed my name on the cover. Had that not happened, I’d be none the wiser.
