Joao Fonseca wins 6-2, 6-3 against Tommy Paul

That was an absolutely incredible performance from Fonseca, and he'll face Sinner on Tuesday after taking out Khachanov and Paul back to back.

Good comeback against his fellow Canadian.

This may be the most surprising scoreline of the week, not that Tiafoe won, but the fashion. This was a complete beatdown and for the first time this year, Tiafoe beats a player ranked above him

A complete beatdown in this one just like in Canada. It was 6-2, 6-1 in the match last summer in Montreal, and 6-1, 6-1 here. Seems to be playing her best tennis of the season so far this week.

A slightly surprising scoreline, I am very impressed that Kostyuk was able to come back from the injury, and its great she's back, in her first match and routine a player in great form.

Alexander Bublik with a good recovery 3-6, 7⁷-6³, 6-2 vs Vit Kopriva.

Was a set and a break down, of course Bublik started to turn things around this time last year with the Vegas trip. Outer courts packed late in the night with still a few intriguing matches.

Daniil Medvedev wins 6-4, 6-2 against Alejandro Tabilo

Even though Medvedev himself does not enjoy the conditions here with how slow it is, has said its not a real hardcourt, I feel he's played his best tennis here, its so tough to hit through him.

Taylor Fritz wins 6-3, 6⁸-7¹⁰, 6-1 against Jacob Fearnley

Taylor had the 4 match points in the 2nd set but recovered right away by going up the break in the 3rd before taking full control. Taylor always likes playing here at his home event.

Madison Keys wins 6-4, 6-3 against Diane Parry

Parry was dealing with that leg injury, had all kinds of tape, but Keys gets the win here. Kinda needs a good run here, is defending SF points and was not at her best in the 2nd half of 2025

Good turnaround here from Pegula, to keep her streak of Semifinals alive she's going to have to make one here for the first time. Winning at night huge too when the courts are at their slowest.

Katerina Siniakova wins an absolutely unbelievable match 5-7, 6-4, 7⁷-6¹ vs Leylah Fernandez.

My best guess is the muscle she put on in the offseason has made her slower around the court. Haven't watched enough of her matches to know for sure.

Really good win after how well Korda has been playing recently
