My child asked to go to the mall food court for lunch today because of the novelty of the mall. I'm weirded out by it since we're not mall people, but any time the child deigns to leave the house, I'm on board.

It's just kinda wild that in the span of about six months we went from perfect adult contemporary music from the 90s to AI generated music videos. Like, what happened?

Today, at the nail salon, they are playing a YouTube channel with the moniker Pinoy Vibes in the upper left corner. It appears to be AI generated music videos (music too, it seems) with very general sentiments about love (love is every color, every hue, etc). It's a weird thing to see.

The musical vibe at the nail salon has shifted from 90s adult contemporary to what can best be described as non-licenced YouTube background music. Not sure what influenced this change, but I am deeply saddened. Not enough to stop coming, just enough to be disappointed that it has changed.
