Boruto and Momoshiki's convo is pure cinema. To be a shinobi is to endure, that the pun we've been told since Naruto. Boruto can endure because he's a ninja, but Momoshiki can't endure because he isn't. He spent eons taking the easy route to power, so he gives up in the face of constant failure.

Neo Domino is a city of light, but it's a false light, one blocking out the light of the stars. Rex proclaims to be the star guardian, but the land he rules is cut off from the dragon star he supposedly worships. Bommer, as another inheritor of the people of the stars, can see through this charade.
