Honestly, I have feared that life with a puppy would drive me crazy…
No hiking trips, no running, no long walks, I have even stopped swimming, because I don’t want him to be alone more than necessary.
But now I hope we have finally solved the problem and can go explore a bit…

Puff is training very hard to become comfortable on a SUP board.
But since he is not really that fond of treats he has developed his entirely own methods.

I’m convinced that the most important skill an adventurous dog has to learn is to rest (also in unknown places).
So even though we still don’t walk more than a few hundred meters we have made a habit out of taking some very long breaks. Then Puff takes a nap and I meditate with Mother Earth.
After a lot of dry land training on the SUP board Aro felt ready to get on the water for the first time…

Team Jappes Xenial Xinus is a long name, so I call him Puff
Every time we sang Puff the Magic Dragon in school I was on the verge of crying. Still, I accepted that children have to grow up and leave best friends and adventures behind to do boring and meaningless stuff
Now I no longer remember why…
So… I was not supposed to buy a dog of my own yet.
But turning 8 weeks Team Jappes Xenial Xinus had not found a home, so I got to puppysit for a few days while his breeders celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with the house full of guests.
Of course I didn’t return him…
