Finally got her (hopefully) final colors decided, though I may still make tweaks here and there as I go along. I think the deep wine/velvet pinkish red fits her really well. And a lot of people really liked the purple wing membranes, so I worked those in too.
What do you think?

After spending a week doing more research, gathering more reference materials, and doing some more experimental sketches, I feel much more confident drawing her now. Still not totally solidified on the design, but I think it's definitely getting there. What do you all think?

a remake of the image on the right. Tyro looms over the viewer, his words ("O-Oh gosh, I'm s-so sorry, I didn't mean to do that! A-Are you alright? S-Should I c-call someone??") implying he accidentally knocked them over with his size. Some major changes from the original include the shading & linework, along with Tyro's design (more complicated clothes, a more even face, and he's generally bigger)
