BREAKING: DOJ went to SCOTUS this morning, seeking a stay pending appeal in the challenge to DHS Sec. Noem's effort to end temporary protected status (TPS) designation for Syria.

A district court had blocked Noem's move. The Second Circuit then denied a stay, which DOJ calls "indefensible."
