20 years ago this week we got the final chapter of the Spider-Man Breakout mini which was spun out of the first arc of New Avengers

Finishing up the 50th anniversary variants with the 2000s. A great cover for sure but I do wish there were better representations than the Avengers. Maybe that’s just me.

60 years ago this week, we get what may be the least consequential issue of the Lee/Ditko era in Amazing Spider-Man #30 (they would make up for it a month later)

Fantastic Four First Steps was excellent. A love letter to the Kirby era and one of the most thoughtfully composed MCU entries in a while.

Finding the 70s variant of this series had long vexed me until a new comic book shop opened literally a half mile or so from my house. If this was 30 years ago, I would have been bankrupted by this life development.
