This is something that's been aggravating me about Nintendo presentations in general lately. There's family-friendly and then there's treating your audience like particularly stupid four year-olds.

Also the American dubbing over the Japanese speakers really irritates me.

This is why I hate the change to the ending in the movie. In the book, Project Mayhem destroys an art gallery - a pointless, nihilistic act of vandalism. In the movie, they attack credit card companies, making them more like Robin Hood anti-heroes. Completely changes the meaning.

The magic is not in making the art, writing the story. Not merely putting it on paper, so to speak. It’s in the the serendipity of getting it in front of the eyes that need to see it. It’s the last part I struggle with (especially having been out of the game for the better part of a decade).

Want the Government to save money? Renationalise stuff (water, railways, etc). Get profit making businesses out of the NHS (their profit is a percentage of the money they get given to provide the services). Oh, and slash MPs expenses/subsidies.

That would be a good start.

The UK government is looking to make legal for AI companies that which any ordinary citizen could be taken to court for. It is on the cusp of approving theft *only* in this case, a truly unequivocal “rules for thee, not for me” scenario.

That AI needs such special treatment indicts it utterly.
