Perfectionism's a real bummer of a condition. I guess I could present something in the form of a ref, just not happy enough with it.

I have to fulfil certain criteria before I feel ready to approach an artist for a commission...

+ make a good char ref
+ have ideas for my char
+ find an artist i like
+ can I draft a comm for an artist?
+ can I afford a comm?
+ is the artist free to comm?

...I'm stuck on the first req

I have a ref more or less sorted. Last art commission i helped set didn't seem to go smoothly despite the support I gave to the artist.

I need more help understanding how to correspond better with a freelance artist over a commission without them getting stressed and dragging the task on for months like the last one I had. I feel dumbfounded over how else I'm supposed to assist the artist outside of providing a character ref.
