Yes I agree not all people with a past are addicted to something and if my posts help them in anyway or people in recovery then I’m glad. Sadly my journey included alcoholism so these things I wish I’d done sooner include not drinking but if your journey doesn’t need that step I’m glad for that 😊

Very true, sadly with sobriety I think we evaluate our lives and for many we realise we should’ve been doing it sooner.

I like many in recovery think a lot and I know if I had things to do again I would change a few things.

Grief is funny in itself, 19 years ago was when my dad passed away and I never knew how to deal with it so I never have. Lots of bad coping mechanisms used and I’m an #alcoholic. Now not had a drink in nearly 5 years and only just started to deal with this grief properly.
