AHH!! I'm going to be tabling at @torontocomics.bsky.social next weekend!! Free entry!! I'm even doing a book signing!!! Crazy!!!! The vibes at this event are amazing and I'm so excited to get to table for the first time this year 🥺

This year, due to special events, I will be at my table for limited periods. Other times, the table will be manned by helpers. Please read the schedule above if you want to see me!

I will also be participating in a fun new Stamp Rally with the @cartoonist.coop, so check out my fellow Co-op members' tables too for free prizes!

This year, to celebrate @laurabontje.bsky.social and my book WHEN THE AIR SANG, I will be doing a signing at the Annick Press publisher table at 10-11AM on Sunday, so stay tuned!

It's release day! When the Air Sang is officially on shelves!

Five years ago, I saw my first cicada, and now ... I couldn't be prouder of how this story has come together. @anderkaya.bsky.social and Annick Press, you've outdone yourselves.

The picture book When the Air Sang is open to a spread showing a young girl kneeling in a garden surrounded by flowers and insects, looking at the reader through a magnifying glass. Beside the picture book are some pencil crayons and markers, and three coloring sheets featuring the scene from the book. Each sheet has been colored by someone of a different age with a different coloring style.
