There are mutual aid groups here in STL. It could just be a matter of them not being on bluesky. Idk. I'm not much on social media of any sort, but there were a fair number of FB groups before I left FB. Otherwise, I've found plenty of help through local Discord groups.

I hope you get your tablet issues figured out soon. <3 I know how frustrating it is to want/need to work on art and having troubles with your software and/or equipment.

I'm sure you already have, but I feel like I have to say it just in case. If you haven't already you should try restarting your computer after making updates to the driver/Photoshop/etc. I'm not very technologically smart, but I know turning it on and off again helps more often than you'd think.

If any website needs me to upload my ID to use it, I will simply stop using it. I would rather fully leave the internet than share that kind of information. Fuck no your website is not more important to me than protecting my identity as best I can from authoritarians.

Oh, didn't you hear? That wasn't an intentional dogwhistle, that was just an unfortunate translation mix up! The only *accidentally* referenced a major piece of anti-trans propaganda because hah! languages are weird, amirite? Valiant made sure to make that very clear in their statement... 🙄

(Not to say supportive parents don't exist -- I know for sure they do! But there's a REASON trans people have high rates of homelessness and suicide and why every study about detransition points towards external pressures before any other reason.)

That line got a (dark) chuckle out of me. As if a bunch of parents aren't doing everything in their power to discourage their kids from being trans and then everything else in their power to detransition them when they *are* trans. As if families don't disown their trans kids for being trans...
