What's your favourite text book, which was published over a decade ago, on residential child care that you refer to over and over again? Why not write a book review for the Scottish Journal of Residential Child Care explaining why it made a difference in your practice: buff.ly/ricbEdT

Little Star and I made an experimental chocolate cake to celebrate my 10-year anniversary of working at @celcis.org but sadly due to the storm we can't take it to the office and instead have to eat it all ourselves. Apologies colleagues 😘

A poster advertising a call for participants.
Text is in blue boxes against a cream background covered in musical notes. The rainbow infinity neurodiversity logo is in the top right hand corner.

Call for ADHD musicians!
I am looking for people to take part in a research project about how ADHD affects the experience of performing music.
You can take part if you:
Are aged 18 or over
Have ADHD (self-ID is valid).
Are performing music semi-regularly (as a professional, amateur or student.)
What you need to do
Follow the link in the post to the survey.
It will ask you questions about your attention and spontaneous movements (toe tapping, body sway, head bobbing etc.) in performance.
It takes about 30 minutes and your responses are anonymous.

Underneath the text there is the UK Research and Innovation, Arts and Humanities Research Council logo, the University of Birmingham logo, and the Midlands4Cities Doctoral Training Partnership, Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and Nottingham logo.

It was great to be joined by the Minister for Children, Young People and The Promise, β€ͺ@nataliedon-innes.bsky.social‬ as Scotland celebrates ten years of Virtual School Head Teachers and all they are doing to drive improvements in educational outcomes and experiences for care experienced learners.

So far, the πŸ¦‹ seems to have decided I might like corgi dogs. A high proportion of the things in 'Discover' is corgis. Am baffled. Are they a good default 'you might like'? Akin to making the letter 'e' your first guess in hangman?
