Has anybody used the dehydrate mode on their airfryer? I want to dehydrate some sliced fruit for xmas cocktails, but want to know if it'll work.

Today's lunch at Chez Jones: chicken chipolata, scrambled eggs with garam masala and fresh coriander, baked beans with chilli and tamarind.

Christmasified

I've had 11 weeks in under a month from @scottishbooktrust.bsky.social (mostly) asking me to donate to their Xmas books campaign. It's a worthwhile campaign, but that's too many emails asking for money.

I say wok because I think it's the most versatile pot. You can fry and boil, as well as having greater heat control (compared with other pots and pans).

Hot take on cooking: for most dishes, you only really need a wok, a knife, a chopping board and a heat source. And ingredients of course.

Theoretically I think I could get by with those four non-food items. I couldn't make everything but I could make a lot.

Today's packed lunch: prawn fried rice, green beans with garlic and sesame, salted caramel protein bar, pear, satsuma.
