What an amazing turnout for the Van Buren County Democrats Precinct Party, this weekend. It was a fun and relaxing opportunity to get to know one another better. Thank you!!

We need a Secretary of State who is an expert on elections to step in Day One to fight back against Donald Trump and Congress' attempts to undermine our elections and I am that candidate.

Earlier this year, I rallied local and county election officials to join a lawsuit to halt implementation of the Executive Order and last month a judge ruled in our favor, blocking key provisions of that order.

Thank you Attorney General Nessel. I have said for months that this legislation (and the executive order that preceded it) are blatant attempts to disenfranchise voters, disproportionately affecting women, people of color, and rural voters.

I am sad to learn of the passing of Rev Jesse Jackson. May he rest in peace and may we keep hope alive.

The fight for our democracy is not theoretical. The FBI is conducting a raid on the elections office in Fulton County, GA & Michigan could be next. We need a Secretary of State who knows what to do on day one when Donald Trump orders the feds to roll up. I'm that candidate.

I'm the first person who will stand up and passionately fight for our rights. But we have to do so safely and respectfully and under the scope of the law. I hope that Congresswoman Omar is safe and that this man who attacked her receives the appropriate justice for his assault.

Today, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we honor the six million Jewish lives and all those murdered in the Holocaust. We remember the survivors, listen to their stories, and recommit ourselves to standing against antisemitism, hatred, and violence in all forms.
