Thanks Emma. Our course spaces are divided between researchers from East Anglia & those from outside the area. The non-East Anglia spaces tend to fill up very quickly & we are hoping a few more local researchers will sign up. Once this has happened, we will review our place numbers πŸ‘

What impact does healthy ageing have on stroke? Nicholas Evans, a Stroke Association Senior Clinical Lecturer (University of Cambridge) and Honorary Consultant in Stroke Medicine (Addenbrooke's Hospital). Dr Evans will be discussing research looking at how ageing affects outcomes after stroke and how people respond to treatment. Ageing well in the community - how can we make it happen? Our keynote speaker, Dr Louise Lafortune, is a Principal Research Associate at Cambridge Public Health and leads its Lifecourse and Ageing research. Across the world, cities and communities aim to become β€˜age-friendly’. This means they are trying to become places that help older people stay well and active, and enjoy fulfilling lives. Dr Lafortune will outline how research and older adults actively help shape the places we live to foster healthy ageing.
